La Terra Ventures is very happy to announce that the recent Discovery Plains planning proposal was passed with an 83% vote of yes.  La Terra Ventures as the administrator of the project is moving forward with all recommended stages of the proposal.  We will continue to keep you updated throughout this process.  Many of the pre development stages are already complete or are under way. 

The following are items completed to date:

• Our planning manager has commenced the drafting of the pre conceptual plan which is expected to be complete January, 2009.
• Annexation into the town of olds and an addition of the lands to the current Area Structure Plan has been completed by the Town of Olds.
• Re-Zoning from Agricultural to Urban Residential was initiated by the Town of Olds and is under way.
• A Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment as well as a Geotechnical, Hydrological and Subsoil Investigation have been completed and passed.

Our current focus is working towards the approval of a complete concept plan with the Town of Olds.
